If you want your loved one to go uncared for and looked over, this is the hospital. The treatment of me and my family at my time here was nothing short of disgusting. The doctors and nurses here are heartless and have no compassion for families who are here to see out their loved ones. The doctor allowed my family 20 close family members to come and offer prayers as they disconnect our grandmother and we all bid farewell to her. As we arrive to the hospital with no more than 14-15 close family members we are met with security who insist all of us to leave after we were specifically told by our doctors we were allowed to bring this amount of family members to the room to see her out. Not only did the hospital not have the communication with their own staff of the policies they had in place, they had the audacity to forcefully move grieving family members from waiting in the hotel lobby after they rejected our family from going up to see my grandmother out. The lack of empathy and care they had shown my family I don t wish any family that is at risk of losing a loved one. One of the mistakes that my family made was to choose to bring my grandmother to the medical center of McKinney, there was an obvious lack of care from the doctors and nurses that my family felt from the beginning of the care at this hospital. Not only did the hospital staff not allow my family to come and see out my grandmother, the staff had called security to force them out, I m honestly at a loss for words at the treatment me and my family received. I will make sure everyone knows the injustice they had done on my family. I could go on and say more about how there was a Caucasian family of the same amount of 12-14 people in the same lobby and were NOT asked to leave, but I felt as a brown family our emotion and sentiment wasn t shared with the hospital so security asked US to leave. I hope the hospital learns some basics of hospitality and no other family has to get treated with the amount of disrespect that we were subjected to.
