Never in life 4 stars. The location of the hotel is the only positive. Ok, maybe the pool area and the gym yet. But not more. Rooms or apartments are Spartan, furniture totally stale. Once the room had to change since we got the first sudden visit from ants. The staff must say is very nice and courteous but the rooms are rather good 2 maximum 3 stars. The food is totally monotonous. Buffet compared to Spanish standards absolutely unacceptable and at 4 stars. A small breakfast bar, breakfast rolls, a sort of cheese, 2 sorts of cold meats, scrambled eggs from the pack, bacon and beans, and every day. With 2 weeks vacation you get after 3 days already the pimpanellen. We had half board. Let me tell you, it's not worth it. Save the money and go eat something every night in the city. In the evening there are noodles, potatoes, chewy meat and a variety of fish. If you go on vacation you really want nice rooms and good food. If the rooms are not the bang, then at least the food should be correct or vice versa. Unfortunately, nothing is right here. Landscape in the area and Lagos are beautiful but as a whole compared to Spain Portugal is still miles away. Why Portugal priced is always more expensive than the Spanish coast, I can not explain.
