The site is atmospheric, the ship itself, in original dry dock has been lovingly restored. The place was buzzing with visitors, exploring the ship herself tells such a story. Impressive and fascinating, for all ages. Good gift shop, 'crew's staff really friendly and enthusiastic.
Bristol is an amazing city and the ship and Brunel, her designer, contribute to her rich history.
After visit I had a lunch and wine, sitting on deck over the harbour waters. Delightful afternoon watching ferries kayaks boats come by.
Travelled by GWR from London which was part of the adventure and magic of the day for me.
