They've got a few good things going:
1. The dining room is really nice and inviting. I loved the space.
2. Service was surprisingly good.
3. They have Heinz ketchup
4. They have a pretty good selection of local/craft beers.
5. The fries were respectable. Not covered in parmesan cheese as I feared... Just the right amount of seasoning.
6. My sandwich had a very nice texture. It was a surprisingly satisfying physical experience to eat.
7. We were seated immediately.

But the overall experience wasn't great, or even good.
1. The beer is far too expensive. $7.99 for a Bud Light? I just can't process that, even in an airport. To their credit, they have several nicer beers for less than $9. Quality varies, but price is pretty constant. It's like beer Communism.
2. The food was all extremely disappointing, especially for the price. I hate to think that people may have a layover in the airport and think that this is at all representative of KC BBQ. Tough, tough meat. So much Bleu cheese. Sweet Pickle Spears?! Whyyyyyyyy? Who does that?!
3. The dining room floor was so grimy I couldn't stand still because my feet would slide out from under me. This is not hyperbole. I mean it in the most literal sense.
4. Prices were high, even for an airport.
5. Portions (especially pig wings) were smaller than expected.
6. Pig Wings were strange - drenched in a sickly-sweet BBQ sauce with Bleu cheese.

My bottom line is - they either need to make the food better or rework their pricing. I'd prefer the food to be better so they don't hurt KC's reputation.

Oh, and several people said this is the only sit-down place in Terminal B. That's not true. There is also a Taqueria but I haven't eaten there so I can't say how P&P compares.
