For those who love Wordsworth you will be in seventh heaven .
During my visit there were visitors from the USA, Japan and Australia and of course from our own fine shores.
The House and Gardens are just a short walk from the town centre. There is no dedicated car park attached to the Attraction but there is a Pay and Display car park approximately 300 or so metres away.

The Attraction is owned by the National Tust and the opening times are as follows.
Visitor Centre. 10.30am until 5pm.
House and Garden. 11am until 5pm.
The attraction is open daily EXCEPT Friday's unless a bank holiday falls on a Friday.
Good wheelchair access around the Gardens with wheelchair friendly toilet facilities located in the Court Yard.

The House has a lift for access to the ground floor and upper floor (servants quarters ). Access to the First floor is via stairs ONLY. Those unable to negotiate the stairs are offered a free audio tour.

A good family day out in my opinion with very well kept Gardens for those who have green fingers
