I waited over 24 hours to post my review so I could clearly review this place. If you're looking for a good southern/soul
food to restaurant SKIP THIS PLACE. The food is mediocre at best, the service is awful, and the staff is lackluster. The plates are about 25+ for dinner and at that price TAKE YOUR DOLLARS ELSEWHERE you deserve better. I had my family gather at this restaurant (first time for all of us) to celebrate last night. The waiter Evan was so rude to us. He apprached without telling us his name (we later asked) and told us we had to order all drinks, apps, and entress at once. He left and returned to take orders with the same annoucement. My hands were shaking trying to order because he was so aggressive and forceful. I didn't want to order a drink because he made me feel so uncomfortable. Not to mention they refused to turn down the air even though some people were visibly sweating (from the present temp). The rest of the dinner he brought pitchers over for us to serve ourselves more to drink ( talk about service). I told who I assume was a manger of some sort who made excuses about how another server was called out and thats why Evan was so rude. He even went further to say he usually isn't like that. Now on to the food. I got catfish, some ordered chicken, etc. Underseasoned is a nice way to put it. It's tasteless and they dont have hot sauce!!??
