Brings back "memoirs of a Geisha". Picturesque place. Some trekking involved requiring medium endurance. Be prepared to spend your entire morning. Go as early as 6 am to avoid the crowds. JR pass works from Kyoto to Inari.
Must visit of you are in Kyoto even for a day.
