My wife and I love microtel, and this facility is great. First off, in general, microtel is great compared to typical hotels because the small rooms are so nicely laid out, so easy to keep a consistently good temperature, so well lit (there's nice ambient light and also the option to straight up flood the room with light - I hate hotels that don't have sufficient light available), and just so cozy. And priced right too! If you've never stayed in one, the rooms are much smaller than most hotels, but they're great rooms and the small size is part of that. The facilities at this microtel are clean and the staff has been very friendly and helpful. The bed has been very comfortable and I was surprised to see it's a Simmons (I'm usually a sealy fan.) Full size ironing board in the room and iron worked great. Nice little reading light too which I don't remember from other microtels we've been in, and also this one has a fridge in the room (microwave available down the hall.) The sink and shower head are water conserving designs too I believe, which I appreciate.
