My mom was a patient at Langdon place of Dover from the beginning of February to March after a terrible fall. She suffered many broken bones and trauma. The staff at Langdon place was very loving and caring. From the nurses, therapists, LNA s maintenance and housekeeping . Always tentative and willing to help or fix whatever was going on. She had to have follow up surgery in March and returned to Langdon place after a few weeks at an acute rehab. She said she felt like she was returning home to the friends she had made during her first stay. Thankfully she was able to come home at the end of May and was up and walking 100 feet, able to dress and toilet herself, fix her own food at home . They set up visiting nurses for her through their wonderful social services director. I am blessed to have had such a wonderful outcome. We will hopefully return after her next surgery. Admissions does a wonderful job and worked very hard getting her in for her first and second admissions. Thank you to all the staff and even the secretaries in the front office whom always welcome you with warmth and smilies .
