This Credit Union is truly for its owner/members and its community. I first began establishing my credit rating by getting a loan from CCEC to purchase a bicycle which let me get to a new job far from timely bus routes. Because of the job I could painlessly pay back the loan. The fact that I had received and retired that loan made me eligible for other loans and credit which let me re-establish myself in a new city and a new career. I got the loan in spite of being very ill, nearly homeless and previously unemployed for a period of time. CCEC staff are friendly, accessible, and will go out of their way to help a member, treating me as if I was family. They participate in the economy in a rational thoughtful way, boosting the local economy with every loan & investment. I wish all Credit Unions operated like CCEC!
