South point is far off the strip, but self contained and quite comfortable with nice rooms for the price. Parking is somehow easier here than the labyrinthine parking garages at the more congested properties. Like most casinos it is cloying and annoying after your eyes get blinked out by all of the LED light, and ears are pinged and binged in the destructive beeping attention deficit environment of the gaming floor. But lots of people get thrilled by this, I don't hate it more than any other casino floor. I was happy they had a nice sports betting area where you can enjoy a casual bet and get lost in your game. That is really the only reason to gamble at all, just enhance fandom a little. And they do this well here.
