Beautiful location with a great view. Our taxi driver said it was one of the best properties on all of Malta. When I first walked in, I thought he was right. In general, Public areas have been wonderful. Service has been great. A talented pianist plays in the lobby. And the views are idyllic. But after ascending to the guest floors, my opinion has changed. The actual rooms are rather dated and the nightly rate seems excessive. It definitely does not look or feel like a category 5 hotel. There are many areas that need repair (even if just cosmetic). The gym is packed. My friend and I are both Platinum members and so we had breakfast in the executive lounge. The food was average and included a limited (albeit crowded) selection of basic breakfast items. The pictures online make the property look like a picturesque location for a holiday. While it is a beautiful location, had I known about the dated experience I would have, I would have spent my money on holiday somewhere else.
