I love Sofitel properties. I have stayed at their Sofitel Vienna Stephansdom and Sofitel Luxembourg Le Grand Ducal hotels so when I had a chance to stay at the Sofitel London Heathrow i jumped at the chance.

From the moment I contacted the the group reservations department all the way through to check in I was met with a well managed, professional staff head and shoulders above the rest.

I find the Sofitel Hotels to have a distinctive design. No two hotels are the same. This one has a unique style which incorporates the judicious use of glass. Beautiful.

In the room the furniture, bedding, carpet and bathroom amenities were well put together and functional. The internet was adequate but not especially fast. This is what you with the complimentary service. If you need to stream or down load large files or VOIP you should upgrade to the paid service.

I had to leave early the following morning so I did not use the gym or partake in the breakfast. However, if they are as good as the other Sofitel Hotels they are top notch.

My only caveat is that the staff takes too long to answer the phone at night. Other than that I have no complaints and can't wait to stay here again.
