I got a luxury suite and it was super filthy. It was a smoking room but it reeked like smoked cigars. I checked in really late. Before I had called to confirm that my reservation was still going to be good even with the late check in, at 12am. But when I arrived they said that they cleared the reservation after 2am for the new day.
The girl said she would honor my reservation even tho she did not finish checking me into a room untill like 4:20am. But she said I would still be charged for the room and have to check out at 11am.
I asked for a luggage cart or a bell hop for help with my stuff. Which she said they had none and don't have any. I was super irritated. The valet was closed and the entrance was completely blocked off. I had to struggle with all my stuff and I was totally disappointed in the lack of customer service.
I was really tired and wanted to shower and sleep. But the room was filthy. I was disappointed to find the super luxurious room and all it's pretty things covered in ash and dust.
The smell alone made me think the room was dirty. Luckily, I brought my lavender febreeze. The pretty light was broken missing a huge chip out of one of the globes. Basically the bed was beautiful and clean the carpet had been vacuumed. But the pictures, mirrors and glass showers were gross with god knows what. The floor in the toilet area had been looked over: there were foil wrappers and nasty grossness all over the floor and base boards. The tile floor was so sticky my shoes stuck to the floor when i lifted my foot, making funny sounds. I went to the front desk who took notes on the computer and refered my number to housekeeping. They said send. Pictures to the number and housekeeping would take care of it.
It took forever. They took hours before fixing the sticky situation. I don't understand why they would have just given me a clean room or given me an upgrade for the inconvenience. Instead i waited wasting most of the time I was there for them to at least fix the bathroom floor.
Housekeeping finally came after i fell asleep amd were super nice and helpful.The fixed the floor. But the manager wanted me to put a mask on in my hotel suite after they woke me up and then decided that we needed to leave the room so they could clean. I said forget it and she said I could have an extra hour late check out. By then it was already Noon and I had to get up and check out so i run to take my shower and check out. It was a struggle the entire time and I was totally frustrated.
