I started working for this AMAZING unicorn of a company about 6 months ago. Usually by now, I would have come home upset, stressed out, having already changed my opinion of a coworker/boss from the best to I can t stand this person .... Not here!
I have never experienced a business, in its entirety, that is a down to earth, easy going, we re all equals kind of atmosphere. Of course we AREN T equals; I am definitely no where near as important as the CEO (LOL). BUT, that CEO will sit next to little, bottom of the chain me, and have a normal conversation asking about my family, my experience with Glick, how the day s going, and so on.
I WILL RETIRE from this place! Did I tell you, I even get PAID to do volunteer work? I even get to choose if I give time to an organization my own choosing, or I can work with an event Glick has organized. I get to be the real me, big giving heart and all, AND get paid? Shoot... I don t know how I got so lucky, but I d be a janitor, a window washer, a maintenance tech, a secretary, a doorman, or any other position they needed filled, to be in this company.
Mr. Glick and his wife have quite the legacy they re leaving in Indianapolis, and to say I m proud to be a small fraction of a piece of it, is an honor and a blessing. #Glickster4Life #GlickPhilanthropy #Never-hide-behind-policy #Enhance_Every_Experience
