Cape Henlopen State Park is a great place to visit. There are a variety of activities to engage in and many nice views for pictures. The beach is a true beach, it's the Atlantic Ocean not like the other "beaches" in Maryland. The sand is soft and the water is cleaner than Lewes Beach (a few miles down the road). So, it's definitely worth it.
