Great place to visit to spend good 60-90 mins if you are interested in chess. They had couple of exhibitions going on when I visited today and they were really very informative. They had assistants on all three floors who actually knew what all the artifacts meant. They answered my questions satisfactorily. Nice gift shop and perfect way to end your visit with a game of chess right outside this place. They have tables with chess boards ready for you to play. Also they have giant chess board for kids to play with. Plus, St Louis chess club is right across the street.
