According to their website, 92% of their customers would recommend Healthvision. A percentage which I truly believe is not true and highly exaggerated. Based on the service they have provided my father for over the last 3 years, we are not included in this fictional figure.

They claim to provide exceptional carers who arrive on time, yet my father has experienced carers arriving late on a number of occasions. They have been unreliable and inconsistent on a regular basis. This has led to my father having to tend to himself, which is totally unacceptable. He is paying for a service which he is not receiving.

They make further claim to carefully choosing their carers, but they have failed to do this for my father a number of times. My father has had carers who cannot speak, nor understand, the English language. This would be fine if my father could speak multiple languages, but he cannot. This has made communication extremely difficult and frustrating for him. Something he should not have to experience and feel during his time of need.

They have made other mismatch failures by providing him with females carers, despite us informing Healthvision on a number of occasions not to do so. This has occurred twice in the fortnight alone. Due to the intimate care and attention my father requires, my father prefers for male carer to assist him. This is a simple enough request, that should be easily achievable, but not for Healthvision. By not being able to fulfil his request shows their complete lack of competency on a whole other level. How hard is it to check someone's file to ascertain the correct information?

We have communicated our dissatisfaction to Healthvision, but it important to inform and warn future customers that what they read on Healthvision's website and the actual care provided are at completely different ends of the spectrum. We would strongly advise people to look elsewhere for a decent care provider and save yourself the anguish!
