You can smell an hear the processes in Dublin's only producing whiskey distillery. Also the tasting you get there is a good one. The reason for four stars instead of five is that the tour is a little rushed and the guide needs to talk really fast. If I didn't know how whiskey production works, I would not have learned it here.

For my compatriots again in German :) The Teeling distillery is the only one that actually produces and bottles whiskey in Dublin at the moment. The nice thing here is that you can hear and smell the process on tour, which gives it a lot of authenticity. The tasting is the best part of the tour and I definitely recommend the trinity tasting, the single malt is not to be sniffed at. There are four stars instead of five, because the tour had to go very quickly and our guide spoke accordingly quickly. If I hadn't known about whiskey production beforehand, I probably wouldn't have understood anything here. In general, I would not recommend it if you are unsure of English or only if you are really big whiskey fans.
