Review of Wintergreen Resort

This is the perfect getaway! We came in the summer...

This is the perfect getaway! We came in the summer (August) when it's very quiet on this 11,000 acre resort but I can only imagine the beauty in Fall seeing all these trees in gold, red & yellow. They say Winter is their big "on season" but this place seems like it would be amazing anytime of year. There's so much to see & do here with the lake, nature, zip line, swimming, restaurants etc. I think my favorite part is the natural beauty here. Its obvious they took great care to build the resort in the trees and leave nature to be appreciated as undisturbed as possible. The kids have loved it here!
