As most people have, I heard terrible things about medical care at VA facilities - not my experience at Seattle's VA Hospital. I recently broke my wrist and ended up needing surgery to have a plate implanted. A few short months later the scare is barely visible - a plastic surgeon expert job.
I could not have asked for better service. Sure you have to wait sometimes but that is care in the US. Try going to a civilian hospital for an walk-in emergency. GREAT SERVICE, AWESOME CARING STAFF.
