Tuesday 12 June I went to the Zwaluwhoeve with my daughter for the first time, with Vakantieveiling.nl we had entrance and dinner. I had already heard and read that it can be very busy, and that was certainly the case now. On arrival there was even a whole line outside. It took half an hour before it was our turn. You would think that with a sauna complex that only works with reservations, you know exactly when so many people are booked that there are no more lockers available. Oh yes, they know that here too, but that is no reason to allow more people? No, what do they do at the Zwaluwhoeve? You just get one locker for two !!!!! We had booked the lunch, but also at lunch and dinner it was better not to go at the agreed time, then you could join in the back. In the evening at checkout there were only 3, moments later only 2 counters open (out of 6) with again rows of people waiting. We have not experienced the infusions, we did not want to stand in line for a long time. We were quite satisfied with the complex in itself, spacious and with many choices, but the crowds made it impossible for us to really relax, which should be possible in a wellness resort. One more tip for anyone who goes to Zwaluwhoeve despite all the negative reviews: check the bill carefully! With us was the lunch and the extra costs for swimwear day (also so absurd!) On the bill, while I had already paid via the internet. When we reported this to the girl at the desk, her response was: "That's why you have to check the bill. Sometimes it is on it, sometimes not". The (free) welcome drink (coffee or tea) was also on it. I only realized this at home, so unfortunately, I paid too much too.
