I had always wanted to go to Essel World. I am from a small town so I never really had a chance to have real fun.
We started from BKC and reached Borivali. From there, we took an Auto from Borivali to Gorai. There we took a ferry ride to finally reach Essel World.
The fun island is divided into two parts - Essel World and Water Kingdom. You have to pay separately for both. We went to Essel World. There were hell lot of rides that we enjoyed. But Thunder was definitely the most thrilling one. But how many rides can a person take in one day?
After a while it felt boring. So we moved on to doing some other things like Ice Skating and Bowling. Bowling was really fun whereas Skating was a pain to do. Because we did not have any experience. It was fun nonetheless.
If you visit Essel World, make sure you do these two things because they are the most fun. You have to pay around 200-250 for both. It is totally worth the money. Thunder is the best ride, period.
But I did not enjoy it as much as thought I would. I think Water Kingdom may be a better option if you are not a ride-person. After a while, the rides become repetitive.
