It's a vegas casino/hotel. It's not bad but the price you pay vs what you get isn't really justified. It's not on the strip so you have to drive or take a $10-$15 uber to get to the strip every time you want to leave. They charge a $40 a day resort fee (not negotiable, have to have it) to essentially use the wifi, which we never got a password too anyway.

Of course you should avoid room service as well. Cheapest option would still be 40 bucks for some chicken strips and they will double charge you. (Be careful on this one, they'll charge the room even if you pay for the meal separate.) Unless you're loaded the mini bar was insane as well (it always is, just mentioning it here)

The room itself was okay. The bed was remarkably stiff and plasticky. The down pillows were nice enough though. The bathroom was a mess though. The grout was mildewy and gross, the sink was covered in lime scale and I'm assuming other stuff. The water smelled heavily of chemicals and really dries your skin out. The best part of the room was the view. We had an excellent high rise view of vegas which was a pleasant surprise.

The pool was pretty nice. I'll give this place that. We did get to see skrillex at the pool party which was a plus and quite possibly a redeeming factor here.

The casino was fine. Same slots as all the others. Nothing really better or worse about it. However, the drinks here seemed much weaker than any of the other casinos we went too. 6 in and not a buzz seems a little strange considering we were on empty stomachs.

All in all? Stay on the strip somewhere for less, save money on uber's, explore the city by walking and have access to food for a lot less within walking distance. If you're going just to hang out in one place and never leave the hotel? The palms might work for you.
