My family and I stayed here for a family birthday ...

My family and I stayed here for a family birthday celebration. The first few nights were fine, the facilities are nice enough. There were a few odd things that I noticed, though. We stayed in two separate rooms, and although the building layout was the same, the furnishings were quite different. There was carpet in one room, shelves instead of cabinets, small things like that. I thought it was strange but nothing too crazy to be upset about. There were also some very small ant-like bugs in the kitchen/dining area which didn t feel like the end of the world to me, but it was off-putting. However, later in the week, we opened a cabinet in the bathroom to look for a trash bag only to see the biggest cockroach I ve ever seen in my life. It was probably two inches long, and very much alive and kicking. We had to smash it multiple times with a broom to stun it, pick it up in the dustpan and flush it down the toilet. After looking around more, we found two much smaller dead cockroaches in the kitchen as well. I don t know how many more of these disgusting bugs are lurking in these buildings, and I don t really care to find out. The location is very nice but any cockroaches is an absolute dealbreaker for me. I hate the thought that they might have found their way into my luggage, but I ve checked a million times by now. There s a hotel 2 minutes walking distance from here, if it s the location that s drawing you here, I d suggest staying there instead. Really, save your money and find a different place to stay. I don t know how many units here have these disgusting bugs in them, but it is not worth it to find out.
