My experience with Havebury has been nothing but positive. Maybe it because I was used to renting privately and waiting forever to get repairs sorted, but I have no complaints at all. My boiler broke down on Christmas Eve and I had someone out to sort it later that evening. It cut out again on Good Friday and someone was there within the hour. I had an issue in the shower room and someone popped out to visit within a couple of days.

I have a beautiful ground floor flat and a communal garden. Goodness knows how much it would have cost me to rent privately. It was very much a blank canvas when I got here. The floors were bare concrete and I am decorating the rooms as and when I can.

I was previously a house owner and am used to unblocking my own sinks and minor jobs like that so maybe I am lucky in that I can do quite a lot myself. Having said that, we had a major issue with blocked drains recently (due to residents flushing away things they shouldn t). It was dealt with the following day and a broken drain cover was replaced within a day or so.

The staff have done all they can to make me welcome and I am immensely grateful for their support during a very difficult time of my life.
