We have been advised to perform TAVI operation in royal Brampton hospital for my 83 years mother in law and all went well for surgery but she had a terrible complication postoperative in form of massive cerebral stroke and that s it was mentioned as 3% complications rate ,, I can t blame the hospital or myself or the cardiologist but all what I can say to anyone doing Suergery is to think twice before going into such a terrible experience, for doctors it s complication but for patient it s his life ,,,,sad story and terrible experience
