Nice surroundings, shame spa and gym and pool was closed, wasn t clear when booked.
We booked via booking.com
When we booked it looked like we had a choice of rooms. I rang to check our room was ready and a very helpful guy on reception asked if we had 2 rooms and explained the confusion on booking.com he reassured us it would be resolved and even changed our room for a downstairs room with and a place to sit outside and admire the beautiful garden. The restaurant food was impeccable and the staff in the hotel were all very helpful. There was an issue when we checked out and the manager stood and argued with me about the initial mistake about the 2nd room and tried to charge me for it, and stood for 15 plus minutes and spoiled the end of our visit. She needs some customer service brushing up. Luckily I have knowledge of holiday let s with booking.com She eventually backed down after asking about who checked us in, but with a growl.
We didn t let her spoil our visit.
I recommend you diver check booking.com or directly with the hotel.
Never left a review before but had the option so enjoy your stay !
