What better way to spend a beautiful Labor Day than racking up miles on your Harley? That is, of course, unless you have a huge nail stuck in your rear tire. I soon learned that the second best way was to spend the day being charmed and entertained by Amanda and Donna at the Dale Mabry Tampa HD. While the techs in back proficiently set me up with excellent new Dunlops, the lovely Amanda and Donna at the front desk made sure that I had a tasty beverage, a comfortable place to wait, and a tour of the latest and greatest Motor Clothes the shop had to offer, including a hot pink bathrobe on clearance that they were sure was just the thing for me. While I passed on the robe, I did get a license plate border to show my Harley pride on my new car, and I even won a free shot glass in the balloon pop. As I was there over lunchtime, they even included me in the staff order of Chinese food to ensure that I would not expire of starvation on the comfy sofa. To say that the customer service displayed during my visit was exemplary is not strong enough. I actually had a fun time, for which I say a heartfelt "Thank You!"
