This is the best place on earth for inclusion, growth, and fun. I grew up as a camper here, worked here as I got older, and I always try to share how great camp is for everyone who needs it. But with that being said, to you...reader of reviews...sometimes kids come with their school groups, or siblings as their parents make them, or a kid doesn't like the rules of no electronics or having a bedtime or any number of things. And as we all know, with a stubborn kid who didn't want to be anywhere in the first place, it can be difficult to change their mind. Sometimes a place as magical as Camp Jewell can change their minds, but there's always a percentage where they can't be won over. So as you read through the rest of these reviews, trust your instincts that a camp would not be running for over 115 years if it didn't have that special recipe for success, changing lives, and really making people, kids, and families truly happy!
