My Mother has been in the Desert Regional Hospital...

My Mother has been in the Desert Regional Hospital for most of July and half of August for a variety of reasons.
She is currently in the Desert Hospital and was moved from ICU to the right end if the 3rd floor and was placed in the hallway while nothing was going on. She needed help to move as she had a port on one side and couldn't be on that side. The nurse that was on duty asked a random man with dirty hands (my Mother was admitted for an infection). She didnt receive help all night but listened to laughter and carousing while she had been trying to sleep. She was forced to listen to loud construction types of noise and complained that someone was on the roof from 1am to 4am. There were five rooms empty on her side (in the low numbers) and she could NOT get help from anyone. Nobody came all night. The next day when the 7pm shift began she had a major incident and NOBODY came to help her. The Male nurse refused to give her nursing help despite her daughter (me) doing the work and begging the guy to at least cut her dirty bandage off and I will put new bandages on. He was so rough he pulled out the IV needle and walked away leaving her to bleed. Does the Medical industry Not follow the code DO NO HARM anymore? From causing harm, breaking HIPAA, inviting a stranger to move her and her naked body was exposed. Her Privacy was broken and her healthcare was put at risk. Most of the staff look MISERABLE on that floor and are extremely APATHETIC toward Patient Care. There have been positive experiences during her multiple admissions BUT this experience she has been having since 1am on 8/24/19 throughout the next evening. This experience put a VERY BAD LIGHT on Nursing Care and frankly on Desert Regional Hospital after they had made positive changes in the quality of the Nursing care at the Hospital. The experience has been shameful and has violated a 79 year old womens dignity and placed her at risk for further infection. THIS IS A DISGRACE.
