We often call in and stay at the parklands resort ...

We often call in and stay at the parklands resort on our road trip that we conduct a couple of times per year but must say the place could be so much better if the staff were more accommodating and understanding.
It would have to be one of the worst places to shower as they have installed gigantic showerheads that are water restricted and the pressure is hardly what you would expect.

Then for breakfast there was no coffee out on the breakfast bar so my wife ordered two flat whites of the barista which we were charged an additional $8.50 for and when we explained that there was no coffee at the breakfast bar the girl was adamant that she had to charge us for the coffee and it was almost as if she had paid for it out of her own pocket .
My way of thinking is if you charge somebody over $200 for a room and then $20 for breakfast surely you could just give them a complimentary coffee without acting like it s a rare commodity and we are also Accor members.

It is located on beautiful grounds which are enjoyable to walk around and with the right staff and the right Management this place could be 5 star...
