We have not been back to this store in years, nor will we ever enter their doors again. We did purchase carpet from them in 2010. They sold us carpet that had been "shorted" of 15% of the yarn. This, of course, afforded a much larger profit for someone.We only noticed after installation that our new top of line Karastan carpet felt unusually loose under foot. We had samples analyzed and compared with those that were originally sold to us. We later found out that this kind of thing happens frequently in the carpet industry. We couldn't prove this was intentional, though after fighting with the store and Karastan - and finally threatening legal action, after being lied to by a Karastan representative - Haynes finally removed the carpet and reluctantly issued a full refund. The exact same carpet purchased from a reputable competitor had a similar price, came with a 'high end' installation, and was as plush and beautiful as expected. All we can say is that this store's reputation is what it is for many good reasons. Shop here at your own risk!
