Hagley Museum details the history of the Dupont Gun Powder operation along Brandywine Creek in the 1700-1800s. It had a very informative museum and beautiful grounds including a machine shop, gun powder demonstration, Foreman's house, and one room school house. The museum itself currently isn't open due to COVID but everything else is. They have lots of cool events each year as well including an excellent care show in September.
