I've been to the wilderness before, but this year I was very disappointed. I originally tried to check in online, but the site was down so I had to call and book. I wasn't told until check in the the wild west indoor park was closed for the days we booked. I was coming with my two small children, so it was a big disappointment since they already are limited on the big slides they can ride, and hated the kid park that dumps water on their head. If I would have known, I would have scheduled my trip accordingly. The park also had a lot of repairs going on, which left messes you had to walk through or around. The pillows on the beds were awful too! For as exhausted as my husband and I were, we struggled to fall asleep with how uncomfortable they were. The biggest complaint though, would be how cold they kept the air and water. It wasn't pleasant getting into, even my kids complained about how cold they were. The only room that was warm was the one with the big wave pooll, but even that water was cold. I do want to say thank you to the young lifeguard who helped try and calm my daughter after she got hurt while I bandaged it. He was very helpful getting everything I needed to make her feel better.
