As a geotechnical civil engineer I have tested clay samples from western Kentucky and western Tennessee. The natural deposits of clay samples taken from the open quarry sites exhibit unique qualities which were initially recognized and developed by the Powell family of Mayfield, KY. The continued development uses of the natural clay deposits are asset for the region. I hope to see continued profitable growth for all the investment parties.
