F**king Fuming!!!
Was due to return to holyhead via dublin on the swift at 8.30am
with bad weather i was informed the previous day that would have to go on larger ferry at 8am, no worries.

while on route to port (6.30am) i got a txt to say that 8am ferry was cancelled & next ferry would be at 1pm.
I drove back to house an called every hour to see if any updates, was told at 9.45am that now the 1pm boat was cancelled and next boat wont be until 8pm.

This was a problem as i was starting a new job the next morning & i have a 6 hour drive from holyhead.

i rang all ferries because i needed to get to uk asap, i booked a ferry from larne to scotland for 1.30pm so i could get back to uk for work the next day.

i then rang irish ferries to cancell 8pm boat & have money refunded, to my absolute horror they said there is a boat leaving dublin at 11.30am
they told me this at 10.30am, i live in monaghan & would not be able to make it as checkin was closing in 30min.

I asked this guy on the phone how long had he know that a boat was scheduled to leave dublin at 11.30am, he told me he found out 1 hour previously. i nearly died.

Irish ferries at no point contacted me to tell me a boat had been rescheduled for 11.30am when they were aware of this at 9.30am
they could of txtd me like all other notifications were sent.

i even rang at 9.45am and they said next boat isnt until 8pm.

So basically because they kept me in the dark about sailings i had to drive 2 hours to larne, make the crossing and drive 8 hours home to london,
didnt get in until 1am after leaving monaghan at 11am
i have a 3 month old baby and had to stop several times.

Will never use there services ever again.
