not impressed at all...given that most people visiting will be veterans of advanced years..a lot of the information, plaques, etc do not read easily and frequently have miniscule writing. The dog walk is currently a total traffic hazard with construction vehicles dominating the road and pathways. We did not encounter any water bowls en route on the hottest day of the year this far. there is nowhere for refreshments, no toilets and no shaded seating on this route either. Come on guys, think elderly, think infirm, think deteriorating vision and less capacity to walk far without taking a break. I have come back to add further comments as sadly I realised that the mostly negative comments are from dog walkers. why aren't you acting on this? also the member of staff who stopped us entering the main building was rude and condescending to the 93 year old gentleman I was escorting there. just as a matter of interest this gentleman played a pivotal part in engine design for the planes and was hugely disappointed not to be able to talk to the RAF guys just inside the main door as he was unceremoniously ushered outside. Not good enough guys, sadly spoilt the whole experience, which had taken some planning and executing.
