Steve Paul Review of Zehnder's of Frankenmuth

I had passed through Frankenmuth several times before, but this was the first time I stopped for a meal. The lunch prices are high; I believe my "two piece" chicken meal was $15.95 before tax & tip. I put the number of pieces in quotes because it was really only one piece -- a breast section cut in half. I had asked the waitress if the 'white meat' on the menu was a breast, and she said yes, but did not tell me that it was only a half. The chicken itself was dry and bland. On the flip side, the stuffing was way over-seasoned with sage (or something very similar to sage). The mashed potatoes did not have much flavor, and they contained large solid chunks. I guess that they do this to remind me that they are real (not instant) potatoes, but I like my mashed potatoes mashed. The Zehnder's building itself is pretty cool, but not enough for a second star after paying way too much for a sub-par meal.
