My family and I visited India and decided to stay at this resort. We liked the fact that it was calm and composed.
We had our breakfast and meal included in our plan. On the day of check out, we weren't sure if lunch would be included or not, and called the front desk for clarification.We were told that lunch would be included, so we ate at their restaurant.
After lunch, we were informed by the restaurant manager that lunch was not included in the cost and was at an additional cost.
When I confronted the front desk about it, the only response the Manager could give me was "You have to pay up." While paying for the food my family ate was never a problem, I was surprised that the hotel manager took no responsibility and did not even acknowledge the fact that his staff gave me incorrect information.
They made it sound like it was a standard procedure. Well if it is that well known, may be the front desk operators need to be trained for not giving incorrect information to the customers. I will not return to this property!
