This is my favorite airport in India and I always make sure that I check in at least 2 hours prior so I can do some shopping. Both domestic as well as international terminals have the most amazing options for food, shopping and books. I find this airport better than a shopping mall and I always end up buying tons of stuff. Be it clothes, watches, perfumes, liquor, books, beauty products, luggage, handbags or shoes, this airport has it all and in the best quality and variety. The check in is smooth and the officials are very helpful. It's extremely easy to venture in and around and reach the gates for boarding. I also like the unique and beautiful artwork present on most walls. There also several lounges for travelers who would like to catch some rest before boarding. This airport is not just the best in India but also one of the best in the world.
