The original Dixie Stampede show was way more energetic than the newer show. We've been to the Dixie Stampede about 8 times over the past 15 years and this past trip was the first time seeing the new show. It was quite boring in comparison to the original. The food quality has gone downhill as well. Watered down soup, small overcooked biscuits, and dry chicken. Also, when we entered the arena it smelled like a porta potty and was quite warm. I asked if they'd turn the air on and I didn't get a straight answer. Needless to say, it never cooled off. The entertainment and food doesn't justify the price any longer so unfortunately we won't be back. Very sad as this was always the highlight of our trip.
