I sent 35MM slides to be transferred to digital format. Their website said it could take up to 6 weeks to get them back and I was pleasantly surprised to get them back in less than 2 weeks. Well, I was pleasantly surprised until I viewed the pictures. They were blurry, out of square, the color had not been corrected (as advertised on their website), etc.--in short, the quality was horrible. I contacted their customer service department and was told to send them back, which I did. They redid the slides on CD and sent them back. The quality was much better. Unfortunately, of the 376 slides that I sent, they only digitized 310 of them. Again, I contacted customer service and sent them back for all 376 to be put on CD. When I received them, only 242 slides were on the disk. I sent them back yet again, and finally, when they arrived, all 376 were on the disk and the quality was good.
It took this company 4 tries to get it right. The ONLY reason that I gave them 2 stars instead of just 1 is because the customer service people were very courteous. With the frustration and bother of having to send my slides back 3 times, I can't really recommend Southtree.
