At first I found the airport attractive and modern. Then while I was in the men's bathroom a group of female cleaners just walked in and started mopping the floor while I was at the urinal. I found this extremely rude and offensive and told them. Men cleaners are not allowed to walk into women's bathrooms even though the women have privacy in a locked stall.
Then I went through the security checkpoint and received a physical body search by a female. I asked if males could also search females, she said no.
I found China to be very rude, backward and offensive with this state-sanctioned gender discrimination. I am not an animal. No one should ever be treated with less respect because of their gender
