I will never donate to the Salvation Army again. Our family decided to donate this past Christmas to a needy family. We donated over $500 in gifts to a family of five. The gifts were all wrapped and delivered to the Hampton Ave facility. I was asked if I wanted tax receipts for our gifts and I said yes to please give me 4 --$125 receipts --one for each family that donated. We never received a receipt nor did we ever get a confirmation that our gifts were given to the family. I have sent 3 emails to Melissa Pashia and left her 2 voice mails. She responds to nothing. She is the AdoptaFamily Coordinator. .
