If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Over the holidays this past year I purchased a TV stand with a fireplace insert from this company through a local retailer. These products come with a 10 year warranty and within 2 months the fireplace insert quit working. I called Twinstar and only spoke to people outside of the country which would be fine if they understood English, which they did not. They sent me a new motor to which I had to figure out how to electrically wire and install myself and ended up having to hire the work out because I'm not an electrician. When the motor did not fix the problem after much arguing they agreed to send me a new fireplace insert. The insert arrived and not only was it a totally different insert than the one I purchased (I purchased faux wood and they sent me glass crystals) it also was completely broken on the inside where the little "glass" crystals were all melted together and had scratched the inside all up. I contacted them again after not being able to reach any one for a very long time and was only able to contact them via internet ticket (they would only call me while I was at work and couldnt talk and then wouldnt answer when I attempted to call after work) I was informed they no longer carried the wood insert that i ordered and would send me another glass insert. I informed them via internet ticket that I did not want the glass insert and that I wanted a manager to contact me. That was MONTHS ago and no one has ever reached out to me again. In a desperate attempt to get my money out of this product I opted to attempt to have the circuit board replace using the board in the broken unit they sent me and install it in my original insert. This also did not fix the problem. I have basically given up because I don't have the patience to deal with this another 4 months. I will NEVER EVER purchase another item from this company and I will not do business with retailers who carry their products either. $1,100 down the drain.
