Steer clear of LG OLED TVs! Bought in 2016 at M-Electronics a 65 "OLED TV for about Fr. 3600.-, within 2 years clearly visible, permanent shadows on the display had (MTV and CNN Logo) .Only I have at M-Electronics only after M-Electronics then "regrettably" rejected the case, but now LG's opinion is interesting:
"... Thank you very much for contacting LG Electronics Deutschland GmbH.
Permanent image shadows are a wear on the OLEDs, not a defect. OLED pixels wear out after a certain amount of time (in normal use, the screens last longer than ten years). Now, when static images are displayed, the corresponding pixels are more degraded than the pixels around the area.
Even within the manufacturer's warranty, this is not a reason for complaint.
Yours sincerely

LG Electronics Germany GmbH "
My old Toshiba plasma screen, which is also warned against this burn-in, showed no signs of permanent screen shadow with the same usage.
By the way: At LG, there is only a two-year spare parts warranty from the date of purchase. In a cheap product I understand that, but at least 3600 - not.
Definitely my last LG TV.
