I have been donating blood and platelets for many many years. The staff is always kind and competent. They always try to make your time there as pleasant as possible. When the ruling came down about the antibody and platelet donation, Nancy asked if I could be a "baby donor" to which I said absolutely!! Since then I had a preemie grandson who was a recipient of donor blood which makes it near and dear to my heart. I sometimes say it's the only think I have that anyone wants, lol. Way to go Medic and happy anniversary!
