I've never been so disappointed with a hotel, especially not an InterCon. Rooms are very outdated, our coffee maker was having electrical problems, and their website advertised multiple restaurants open, when realistically they forced you to eat the buffet. The price for the buffet was ridiculous, 300SAR, and the food was terrible. My friends tried the shwarma and both had paper stuck to the bread that wouldn't come off. The seafood was overcooked and cold. The worse part, no masks were being worn by the majority of the guests, they would be laughing and talking and spreading their germs on the buffet tables. Management was also not wearing masks. The waiters and cooks at the bbq were wearing masks. I saw so many covid violations I will never return here. We wanted a safe new year and InterCon put us all at risk.
