I went to Toyota to have a new door handle put on and an oil change. I was told it would take an hour and a half at most and if it were to take longer that an employee would let me know. I sat for three hours (not an exaggeration), and no one gave me an update. When I finally found an employee to ask him the status of my car he told me he could not help me, so I asked if he could bring me to someone that could help me. The employee that did end up helping me after that was shocked the procedure was taking that long and that no one had given me an update. Conveniently when I spoke up and asked about the status of my car it was finally finished. One of the employees that brought me to the check out counter never apologized for the inconvenience I had had. He did however say it was not protocol for me to sit more than an hour without an update. I was more mad at the fact I was told someone would provide me with updates, and no one ever did rather than having to wait for so long.
